Science zone - Where Nurseries can visit for free

Chocolate, ice-cream and 800,000-year-old objects are all attractions at this year’s Cambridge Science Festival (7- 20 March), which nurseries and schools can visit for free.

The festival is run by Cambridge University and events include Chocolatology with the BBC’s ‘gastronaut’ Stefan Gates and Hide & Seek: Looking for Children in the Past at the Museum of Archaeology.

The School Zone showcases exciting demonstrations from the next generation of scientists, mathematicians and engineers from schools across the region.

The final day features a range of medically focused events, with interactive demonstrations letting visitors take a journey around their bodies and brains.
